Car seat recommendations

How to choose a car seat?

Car seat safety is essential to keeping your child safe while traveling. It is important to make sure your child is in the right car seat for their age, height, and weight. As children grow, they may need to transition from a rear-facing car seat to a forward-facing car seat, and eventually to a booster seat. It is important to make sure the car seat is properly installed and that the straps are snugly fitted. Our pediatric office is committed to helping parents understand the importance of car seat safety and the differences between the various types of car seats, and that is why we suggest looking at the healthy children's website for information from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) about choosing the most appropriate car safety seat for your child.
